In April we went on a short trip to the town of the wedding to take care of a couple of logistical items. Chief among these was a visit to the venue to figure out the best ways to utilize the lovely spaces and set up a day-of timeline with our wedding planner and lighting coordinator, both of whom were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. It’s like these professions are full-time jobs or something.
We also paid a visit to a decoration rental warehouse that left our heads spinning with choice overload, and experienced a similar (if tastier) experience in the form of cake samples from no fewer than four pastry shops.

Arguably most fun, however, was a test run with Khanh’s makeup and hair artist for the day— a visit that resulted in several pictures that could totally give full-time fashion models a run for their money. If nothing else, one of us seems poised to look particularly dazzling in a couple of months.
